About who needs care: Mu husband has early/mid stage Alzheimer's disease. He is able to dress, shower, and feed himself, and make simple meals. My husband uses a cane and has occasional difficulty walking. He can carry on a conversation and is aware of his disease. He enjoys reading major newspapers and following national and local news and sports. About the care needs: A female or senior male would be a good fit. My husband rode motorcycles for many years, and a person with that experience would be great. A person who is a good conversationalist and who is even tempered also would be great. An understanding of Alzheimer's symptoms and how to care for a person with dementia is mandatory. Services needed include: companionship.
