We're looking for a kind, compassionate, and attentive caregiver to help care for our beloved mother, who is in her 80s and in the late stages of Alzheimer's. She is bed bound and needs someone with patience, and experience. Your main responsibilities would include feeding, changing incontinence briefs, offering companionship, and making sure she feels safe, clean, and cared for. Light housekeeping and simple meal preparation are also appreciated to help keep her space peaceful and comfortable. We want to make sure she's surrounded by people who treat her with dignity, love, and respect. She enjoys listening to music and watching comedies. She doesn't enjoy feeling alone. We're hoping to find someone who has worked with elderly patients with dementia or Alzheimer's, and who truly enjoys caring for others. A non-smoker is preferred.
