About who needs care: Although I have not shared this information with her, Cathy has Alzheimer's Stage 4 Dementia. Previously, she read books and played canasta and solitaire. She still enjoys music. Recently, she watches TV (mostly news) and sleeps much of the day.. Sometimes we walk down our street. She has a half hour training session twice a week at the gym. She left the house one night when I thought she was in the bathroom. I found her inside a house down our block. She tripped? and fell in the bathroom one night when I was asleep. We went to the emergency room of the hospital, and she was found not to have any broken bones. She has a cardiac pacemaker.
