Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In McAllen

About who needs care: My mother is very loving, compassionate, and creative. She enjoys praying, painting, telling stories and loves Jesus. Although she has Parkinson's disease, and high blood pressure she does not let it stop her from being as active as she can be. About the care needs: We're looking for someone who is friendly, open, charismatic, and can continue to motivate her to encourage her independence, and socialize with others. It would be important that this person be open about discussing the Christian faith and is comfortable with a devout Catholic. It would be important for caregivers to be able to monitor her blood pressure, remind her to consistently take medications, and be able to provide transportation. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
