Easy Care For Alzheimer's Dementia Patient In The Country!

Care for Alzheimer's dementia father. He's very easy to work with and we live out in the country he has a full house to himself. I live next door to him we're on 12 acres total. He's currently on hospice care trying to rehabilitate him back to his baseline. He had aspiration pneumonia twice and ended up in the hospital for 2 months. He also has a healing sacrum wound on his back side that will need to be cleaned properly if he has an accident. Along with applying ointment and bandaging as needed. Usually needs to be changed once a day. He's bed bound and will need help moving and transferring from bed to chair etc. He's gaining strength and tries to get out of bed or the chair sometimes, so you'll need to keep an eye on him. Depending on the time he will need help feeding along with changing and minor bathing if needed. He's on a purée diet and thickened liquids. His day consists or waking up around 9 a.m. doing his breathing treatments in his recliner in front of tv. Then around 10 a.m. he eats and drinks his breakfast along with protein shake. He will then watch tv until about afternoon and will be transferred back to his bed from noon till 2-4 depending on how he's feeling. Then will be transferred back to recliner to do another round of breathing treatments. Will watch Tv from then till about 6 and have his dinner along with a desert. He eats twice a day and will need reminder cues to chew, and swallow given he holds and is an aspiration risk! During his downtime you're welcome to relax and watch tv/text or talk on the phone.
