Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Lubbock

About who needs care: My grandma just had hip surgery, she was bed bound before and is still bed bound. its very hard for her to get up and moving even with simple tasks such as going to the bathroom or taking a shower without falling. She loves to crochet when her arthritis isnt acting up, she watches tv all day and is depressed. Her day consists of sitting on her recliner in her room, going to the bathroom, going back to her chair, and only leaves the chair if she has to go to the bathroom , shower, or doctors appointments. I fear for her health in this state but she doesnt want to go to a home for help she needs. Hiring a Home health care worker is my next best option. About the care needs: Someone who doesnt smother, She gets irritated when smothered. she needs someone strong enough to help lift her from chair to wheelchair. I prefer someone whos kind and understanding, for she is depressed from not being able to do anything. She will need help with her exercises she is supposed to be doing. For hobbies and interests, its hard for her to do anything with her arthritis, she really likes to do things with her hands. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
