About who needs care: My grandfather has Parkinson's. Currently he is losing function in his legs and will be in a wheelchair soon. He has trouble taking care of himself including cooking, medicine management, bathing, occasional bowel issues. About the care needs: Needs to be kind but also firm on taking medications (patient is not receptive at times). A good sense of humor is a must. Wife talks A LOT. Needs to be able to change diapers occasionally, needs help dressing, bathing and cooking. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
