About the job
I need hands-on care for my 30-year-old son in Lago Vista. He has cerebral palsy, and presents like an infant. He is non verbal and wheelchair bound but still loves life and people. I am looking for loving individuals who are reliable, organized, attentive, and compassionate. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and CPR / first-aid trained. You will be responsible for all aspects of personal care including bathing, dressing, diaper changes, transfers of 100lbs., driving to Drs/outings & daily charting. He has a gentle personality, loves music, SpongeBob, playing with his toys, and someone simply talking to him. Experience caring for special needs kids/disabled adults/seniors preferred, but willing to train the right person.
