About who needs care: She has COPD and is on constant oxygen. She loves to cook, but cannot now. She gets up in the morning around 8 am, her boyfriend makes her breakfast and she eats a yogurt smoothy, washes her face, brushes her teeth, takes her medicines, uses walker to go to livingroom and sit in recliner. She spends most of the day there and sleeps, watches TV, reads a book, naps, her boyfriend makes her lunch, she eats and goes back to her chair unless she has a doctors appointment. I try to bring them dinner or make it at her house, she eats, we take her to the restroom, dress her for bed and get her settled in the bed with her knees elevated.
