About who needs care: My mom has lived with me for a little over a year and her mobility is diminishing. She can transfer herself from her lift chair to her wheelchair and from her wheelchair to the toilet, but sometimes she needs help with personal hygiene and just having someone near to make sure her transfers are safe. She loves to talk and watch TV, and might need a snack to be made for her if she's hungry. About the care needs: Someone who doesn't mind chatting about just about anything. My mom used to cook/bake a lot, so someone who is interested in learning about or sharing about cooking would be great. we have a dog who lives inside, so a caregiver who is fine with a med/large friendly dog is a must. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
