About who needs care: My mother has trouble walking. She is able to walk limited distances with the help of a walker only. She would need help with taking a bath, heating meals, cleaning, laundry, organizing things, and other similar light duty tasks. She would also need help with transportation to doctor appointments. She has a wheelchair she can use for these types of scenarios. About the care needs: Someone who is patient and likes to listen to others. My mother really likes to talk. Also, someone who can help with wound care would be nice to have. Not a requirement, but it would be good. Someone who can help her get from her walker to a wheelchair would also be very helpful. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
