About the job
We need hands-on care to take care of my father in Irving. Assistance with medication is needed. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Prefer someone familiar with sara-steady/sit to stand. My dad will need assistance transferring from wheelchair to bed, etc. He also needs help bathing, toileting with bedside toilet, dressing, and doing his exercises. He is still very mentally sharp, but broke his arm and has diabetes and possibly parkinson's so physically it is very challenging. We are still hoping with PT that he will eventually be able to walk with his walker again.
