About who needs care: Father-in-law needs assistance with bathing, toileting, taking nighttime meds, uses both walker and wheelchair for mobility. Currently has Foley catheter with bag that needs changing. Waiting for Urologist visit to fully address that need. Suffered a minor fracture to pelvic bone from a car accident 3 months ago and is undergoing all the therapies to address those concerns. Currently living in an independent living facility with his wife who is not equipped to take care of him by herself. He is Greek. He would prefer a female caregiver and someone who is physically strong, patient and nurturing. About the care needs: If they speak Greek or Spanish, that is a huge plus! Someone who loves history and traveling would also be great. Someone who is dedicated to what they do. Caregiving should be a calling, not just a job. Someone who has at least 5+ years of experience. Someone who puts family first and is not neglectful. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
