About the job
Hello! We are looking for a friendly and reliable caregiver to look after our elderly father, who currently lives in an independent living facility. Responsibilities would include ensuring he takes his medications on time (every 3 hours), helping him get ready when he occasionally needs assistance, helping prepare meals, running errands, and driving him to appointments (doctor, physical therapy) or other places. He has Parkinson's and dementia, so we'd prefer someone with some experience with those conditions. The hours are flexible, approximately 30-40 hours a week. We do need somebody in the mornings to make sure he gets his meds and starts the day well..
