Hands-on Care Needed For My Loved One In Horseshoe Bay

About who needs care: My cousin has special needs. He is developmentally delayed, autistic, and has the mental capability of around a 3 or 4-year-old. He loves to watch old game shows and old Disney movies. He was recently discharged from the hospital after being there for two weeks. The hospital doctor sent him home with an injectable antibiotic that needs to be administered through the port in his chest. The hospital gave directions on how to administer the antibiotic and we would need the caregiver to learn how to do this also. My cousin would need someone to interact with him, watch movies with him, help with going to the restroom, help with showering from time to time. My cousin is super sweet and very loving. He will want to call the caregiver by a new name that he will choose and to be honest, the world may never know why he does this all the time. lol About the care needs: The perfect person would be patient and kind. Someone who is a good listener because my cousin is difficult to understand. They should be prepared to watch movies and tv shows over and over. They will also need to learn how to inject antibiotics through his port that will be thought to them. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
