We are looking for someone to assist our family with respite care. My father suffers from vascular dementia and has cognitive decline issues. His wife is his full time care giver however she is also disabled and needs help caring for him. The ideal candidate would understand the challenges dementia patients experience. Compassion and patience is a must. Our family needs someone who can engage with my father, serve as a companion and assist his wife with bathing as needed. This position is part time and the hours are flexible. Spanish speaking a plus but not required. If we feel you are a good match, you can start immediately.
