About who needs care: Care primarily for my dad. Non-medical, but help with daily living activities and mobility: incontinence care, bathing, moving from wheelchair to bed. He has Parkinson's, but is lucid and personable. My mom is able-bodied but exhausted from caregiving and could use some help with household chores. Flexible hours, but would need a block of time several times a week, up to every day per week. My parents are kind and will probably "adopt" you. My dad likes WW2 history, nature shows, and Tom Clancy. My mom likes to read C. S. Lewis and about lives of saints. About the care needs: Someone who is cheerful and diligent. No medical skills needed, but someone who can help roll/turn/change an adult, can do showering/bathing, and help transfer a large (240lb) man from bed to wheelchair or lift chair (he can stand some of the time, sometimes he needs help). Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
