Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandfather In Friendswood

About who needs care: F (93yo) has an irregular sleep schedule (sleeps a couple hours at a time) and spends most of his time awake in bed or in his chair, looking out the back window or watching the local news. He is almost aways able to lift himself out of bed and into his wheelchair (and vice versa) with only supervision at this time. He can walk short distances with a walker if necessary (with supervision). He has an occasional slow-motion tumble where he needs help off the ground (1-2x per month, if that) but we do have family/friends on call to help in these circumstances, if needed. He has dementia and can become confused about time and place, especially if he is tired or just waking up. He occasionally has hallucinations (usually far away, outside in the yard) and some paranoia, but he is mostly calm and agreeable. He wears diapers but can (at times) make it to the bathroom or bedside commode on his own. His preferred meals are easy to prepare (microwaving soup, opening a bottle of Glucerna, etc.) and he can take his own meds with consistent reminders. He enjoys whiskey, but does not drink enough to become drunk or difficult to manage (we monitor his alcohol to some degree). He has a live-in caregiver (an adult granddaughter) who is looking for some relief and uninterrupted sleep, and another granddaughter (me) about 15 miles/30 minutes away who is also available in emergencies. We are primarily looking for care overnight, something like 11/midnight to 7/8 am, but can be flexible on the specific hours. He could use a little more encouragement to continue helping himself and retain strength/skills, to drink fluids, eat and take his meds, and an ear to listen sometimes. At least some experience in caring for seniors, especially those with memory issues, is a huge plus. We would welcome a little guidance if that is the case, but do not expect it. Strength/the ability to help him from the floor and back into his chair or stabilize him during transitions would be a bonus, but it is not a requirement (F is around 160lbs). Again, we do have others who can help in these rare circumstances. Must be able to speak loudly (he has good hearing aids, but we still have to speak up). Someone trustworthy and reliable. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
