Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Fredericksburg

About who needs care: Its both my Grandparents, my grandfather still gets around ok but is on a cane from recent stroke, he has been taking care of my grandmother and himself for several years now as she has been diagnosed with aphasia. She still gets around pretty good but very confused a lot of the time but don't want to separate them because they are most comfortable together. She has started had trouble making it to the bathroom lately and needs help with bathing and hygiene. My grandfather could use help around the house also as far as cleaning and laundry. They like to go outside feed the chickens and fish and play with the dogs. They both still enjoy yard work and flower beds and such. Not really sure if all day care or half day care or just overnight is best. They have always done very well but with this recent stroke my grandfather had I'm worried about them being alone but really don't want to take them out of there home. About the care needs: We are in need of someone with a specialty with aphasia for my grandmother, she is my main concern, my grandfather could use help with her taking showers and changing her diapers and keeping up with her hygiene. Someone with a good personality and understanding of the disease aphasia. My grandfather has a great personality and pretty easy going, he can be stubborn. My grandmother is hit or miss on her mood and can be grouchy. Someone active and upbeat would be great. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
