About the job
I'm a 61-year-old who is a wheelchair bound Quadriplegic looking for a strong, able person who can assist in my morning routine and start the day for new adventures. I will require help in the morning with breakfast prep, bathroom routine, getting to the shower, dressing and getting into my chair for the day. Knowledge of a hoyer is helpful but not necessary, same with using a transfer board. Prep with lunch and probably 2 or 3 dinners a week. Emptying trash, dishwasher and laundry are needing to be done . Sweeping or vacuuming and swifter mopping as needed as well. I enjoy spending time with my animals, gardening, cooking, doing puzzles, playing games, getting out to stores. This person is needing to be comfortable driving a van and assisting with appointments in Dallas. There are quite a few animals on the property, including dogs, horses, cows, chickens, that also come with the package !
