About who needs care: Still very active socially, but with mild dementia. No longer drives. We are looking for help with managing her activity schedule within the independent living community, helping her to attend classes or events. Occasionally driving to doctor's appointments. About the care needs: A caregiver who has experience with clients that have geriatric memory issues. Able to confirm she is taking her daily meds, and to help motivate her to attend activities within the residence. Caregiver not expected to attend the activities, just help get her out the door. Valid drivers license and willingness to drive her to nearby medical appointments. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
