About the job
My Dad, Ron a super pleasant previously 100% independent 84-year-old who came down with viral encephalitis on Dec 27th. He was in the hospital for a month getting treated for the encephalitis and other medical issues and is now in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. He gets discharged in a week and we are trying to find multiple care givers that can fill in a 24 hour shift to support my mom at home in taking care of him for the next several weeks, months and possibly years. We need someone strong who is not scared to help him transfer and mobilize to the bathroom and to help him shower, someone with a sense of humor who is willing to be a positive light for my parents in this new chapter of their lives.
