About who needs care: Short term memory, some mobility issues and a diabetic. Will need some basic housekeeping, medication prompts, mental stimulation and meal assistance. Spends most of her time watching TV and doing puzzles. Also goes to pool for exercise twice a week. Caregiver will need to communicate daily with me on any issues, medical refills or additional instructions. About the care needs: Has experience with memory loss and diabetes. Understanding of military life and overseas travel would be helpful. Exposure to German and/or Filipino cultures would also be a plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
