About who needs care: Needs help transferring from recliner to wheelchair to bathroom. Needs a little help balancing and a little help standing. Needs help taking her medication and insulin injection. Needs meals prepared for her but feeds herself. Likes to watch TV, doesn't mind chatting but is a champion napper. Enjoys having company but doesn't get much. Has dementia but is very pleasant and happy. Not demanding at all. Occasionally needs help putting her recliner upper back or having a blanket over her. Not demanding at all About the care needs: No special needs other than a cheerful disposition and a willingness to be attentive. Mom does not need a lot of attention because she basically lives in her recliner and cannot walk. But she does need help throughout the day occasionally especially getting up from the recliner to the wheelchair going to the bathroom. Will need a little help balancing and sometimes standing. She has to be reminded to push with her legs to stand up and encourage that you're helping to support her because she's afraid of falling. Someone who's optimistic and pleasant. Who doesn't mind chatting if Mom wants to chat but is Happy entertaining themselves doing something else if she's napping Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
