Senior Care Attendant

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other care settings. Duties: - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document administration - Monitor and record vital signs of patients - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Assist with mobility and transfers - Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients Skills: - Experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is preferred - Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices - Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disabilities is a plus - Proficient in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) - Ability to administer medication using various systems (e. g., pill organizers) - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others - Ability to provide patient care in a professional and empathetic manner - Knowledge of senior care principles and practices Join our team as a Personal Care Assistant and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
