About who needs care: COPD, post stroke (left sided weaknes, no paralysis) 15 yrs ago, COPD, congestive heart failure, aortic stenosis, stage 4 kidney cancer and kidney failure (no dialysis at this time), high blood pressure, anemia. No memory/dementia/alzheimers. No special interests or hobbies The perfect day would be having someone there at 9 a.m. to help administer his meds, have someone prepare and serve him breakfast and coffee, help him get dressed. Clean up from the meal. We would need someone to return around 12-130 to prepare and serve him lunch, clean up after the meal, fill his water bottle etc and again for dinner 5-630. He is not incontinent and uses the restroom facilities normally. About the care needs: Someone who has a great sense of humor as he loves telling jokes and having fun conversations. The right person will need to also be stern and a have thick skin when necessary because he can be difficult (very vocal) when he feels like he is not in control. He is not aggressive or abusive but can have a sharp tongue at times. No specialized skills, hobbies or interests Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
