About who needs care: My father is going blind and is a diabetic. He wears a foot/leg brace due to drop foot, but can still get around with a walker. Dad takes a walk around the block every morning. He needs assistance with this because of his deteriorating eye sight. Looking for someone to clean house regularly (dusting, vacuum, deep cleaning both bathrooms), fix lunch for Dad, wash dishes, give him his eye drops at lunch time, wash towels and linens and make bed, assistance with changing diaper and pad, help Dad access his audible books on his ipad and to navigate tv channels, read to him every afternoon. About the care needs: Trustworthy, loyal, kind, compassionate, patient. Dad is a Eagle Scout and has had his career in the Boy Scouts of America. He also was a full time minister in The Salvation Army. A follower of Jesus would be a blessing, but not mandatory. Dad also loves genealogy. He is the founder of the Cedar Hill Genealogical Society. He loves camping and hiking and fishing. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
