About who needs care: Very bright, alert, engaged. Needs some prompting/cues for time-specific activities. Needs some support for routine housework (laundry, vacuuming, etc.). Ideally, would do some structured physical activity each day (we have worksheets). Enjoys cooking, baking, reading, movies, animals, children--was a long-term substitute teacher for many years. About the care needs: Looking for a patient, friendly caregiver who enjoys spending time with a sometimes-forgetful but always positive lady. Be willing to provide transportation to/from occasional appointments or grocery shopping. Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate with family members. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
