Looking for the right fit. Need a companion for my husband, 82, who is physically fit and has moderate/advancing Alzheimer's. He can be stubborn and difficult at times, such as with taking pills. My adult son and I are an active part of his care, but can't do it alone. Looking for someone who can spend time with him, drive him places, ease his mind when he gets confused, and has the experience and ability to win him over or get him to go along when he doesn't want to do something. He does not currently need help bathing or with the toilet, but establishing routines and boundaries will be key. Prefer experience with this disease, a vaccinated non-smoker, and comfortable with pets (we have a big, but old, dog). Which hours and days are flexible until we figure out who is right and what works for them, but will provide steady hours.
