Companion Care Needed For My Father In Austin

About who needs care: My father just completed treatment for throat cancer and is recovering from radiation and chemotherapy. He has just started eating again. He also has some mobility issues due to general lower blood pressure and is currently using a walker. He lives alone and to date I have been checking on him daily and take him to dr's appointments. I have several upcoming trips and need someone to check in daily. About the care needs: Looking for someone with a positive attitude, compassionate, understanding and good problem solver with good communication skills. With lower blood pressure post cancer treatment, he has extremely low energy. May need help doing a load of laundry and fixing lunch. They also would need to make sure that he has taken his medication from the night before and that current morning, take and record his blood pressure. Communicate status updates to family. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
