About the job
Help with our disabled 29-year-old daughter 2 to 3 times per week. She is wheelchair bound from a stroke and is partially paralyzed on her left side, has aphasia, short term memory issues, recently diagnosed with a neurogenic bladder. She is autistic and craves a routine. She needs full transfer assist as well as assistance with the daily living tasks (bathing, dressing, daily hygiene, toileting, self catheterization assistance as she learns to self cath, light housekeeping including dishes, laundry, changing sheets, emptying trash, etc. She is looking for companionship, transportation to medical appointments, putting away groceries, medicine reminders, meal prep, etc, She is looking for someone who is organized and patient and can help her stay on task and prompt her as she recovers. She likes to play games and laugh.
