About who needs care: She is waiting for a heart valve operation. She also has rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol, high BP even with meds. She can structure her day. She needs help with meds, letting the dogs out, and the dogs meds. If she needs to go to ER the local ambulance will take her because it is the closest. She refuses to go there, she wants to go to the Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano. So, it needs to be someone who can drive or arrange a private ambulance. About the care needs: Someone who is patient with bossy people. She is a former nurse. She will want to be left alone to watch tv with the dogs. We have a poodle, a Maltese, and a maltipoo, all about 12 lbs. the poodle has serious issues and takes anxiety meds twice a day. Two of the dogs have nipped visitors before but never broke the skin.
