About who needs care: My Dad is 89. He walks with a walker for stability and a wheel chair otherwise. He can handle the restroom but may need help. Needs help with showers. Needs meals made for him, other household chores, trips to the doctor and possibly other things. He is on oxygen for chronic hypoxemic respiratory failure, a pacemaker, and other normal ailments for his age. About the care needs: Someone patient and attentive, enjoys conversation, experience with elder care, caring, can handle lifting and bathing a man appx. 130 pounds, preparing small meals, the ability to drive to various doctor appointments, helping do laundry and bedding, possible overnights on occasion. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
