Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Waverly

About who needs care: My mother (and father) both have limited mobility in their arms and are unable to lift heavy items or clean regularly. I'm looking for someone to come in to help with dishes, bathrooms and general organization regularly so that the tasks aren't so overwhelming for them. My Dad is a fixit guy who likes spending his time outside while my mom is a couch potato who is struggling with her need to move more as she has never recovered from multiple knee surgeries. She used to paint, cross-stitch and sew regularly but has not been able to enjoy her hobbies for quite sometime. About the care needs: They need someone who will be kind and considerate and respectful of what they need help with, not someone who wants to completely change the way they live. Someone who's funny and likes to talk about everything under the sun (but do NOT speak politics) who's willing to become an extended part of the family, not just an employee. Someone that has experience with the elderly who knows how to work around the client's resistance to change with a gentle approach. It would be great to have someone who has the same hobbies as my mom for her to talk shop with. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
