About who needs care: My father has wernicke korsakoff syndrome. (Alcoholic dementia) He struggles daily with memory issues. Some day are good and others he forgets. He likes and o fish, watch scary movies, love the Vols. An ideal day for him would just be for someone to provide him with company. Help him start a daily journal to keep track of what he's doing to help with memory recall. Help reminding him to bath/shave, keep track of when he eats in his journal as well as taking meds. He does have a puppy currently for companionship. About the care needs: Friendly, PATIENT, honest, kind and caring. Someone who can tell him No and not take him being upset personal. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
