About who needs care: My dad is suffering with terminal cancer and my mom has been caring for him and desperately needs help keeping up with her life and household tasks. She is extremely particular so has trouble accepting help. However, she has come to the point that she knows she needs someone to help her because she is so overwhelmed. I really need someone who can take charge for her, help make lists and check tasks off the lists. Someone who is organized and has a type A get things done personality. Examples of tasks needed: - organization (put away Christmas decorations, filing receipts, pantry and closet) - household tasks (set up appointments, take cars for maintenance) - grocery shopping - errands Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
