About the job
About who needs care: My Mother-in-law has some memory loss/dementia; she is 95. We need a companion/sitter to bring her to a local wedding and stay with her throughout the evening until after the dinner or until the end of the wedding if she is doing well. The immediate family will be involved with the wedding and cannot watch her the entire time. We would like for her to be a part of the evening if possible. The wedding begins at 5:00 p.m. so maybe pick her up at 3:45 to allow time to get her into the car (she walks slow) and arrive about 4:30. We would like her to participate in the wedding, photographs, cocktail hour, dinner. She will probably want to go back home after dinner, but could possibly want to stay to the end. The latest the event would go to would be 10 pm, but she will probably want to leave earlier. About the care needs: Kindness, make conversation easily, patience, friendly. Must be able to drive your own vehicle and pick her up and drop her back off and be a safe driver with no tickets etc. Pass a background check?? Services needed include: transportation.
