My mom is a veteran with a bipolar disorder diagnosis, fully supported medically by the VA. She currently walks with a walker uses a wheelchair occasionally. Despite the bipolar disorder diagnosis, her mental health is still relatively normal. She needs assistance with some personal care, planning and organizing her medications, meal preparation, basic housekeeping, shopping, traveling, managing two small-medium dogs, etc. The live-in caregiver would reside in the entire upstairs area of a 3-bedroom, 3-bath home. Salary, time off in-home, and time off away are negotiable; I anticipate a reasonable amount of personal time to be allowed.
