We're looking for a caregiver to support my parents as they navigate both independent living and rehab care. We need someone to assist with daily tasks and engage them socially and emotionally, making their days brighter. Our ideal caregiver: Attentive and Proactive: Take initiative asking what else can be done, rather than just waiting to be asked; someone who is fully present, not distracted by phones or headphones. Daily Living Assistance: toileting, transfers, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. Caring and Patient: Engage in conversations without overwhelming them, and have the patience to listen and respond to their needs. Reliable Driver: A safe, cautious driver, for appointments Encouraging of Social Activities... My parents need gentle encouragement to participate in community activities.
