About who needs care: My Grandma has mild Dementia. She has a couple medications she needs to take throughout her day. She enjoys going outside for walks around the yard & checking on the horse. Wakes up around 6am, eats breakfast & takes medications. She likes to walk around the house a lot looking at everything around here. She likes to tell stories about the past. She can remember the oldest of memories but has a hard time remembering things that happened just days before. She is very sweet. She needs a lot of love and compassion. About the care needs: Someone that is full of life, always smiling, kind & patient is an ideal fit for my Grandma. They would need to know how to cook small meals like breakfast & lunch & maybe a couple snacks throughout the day. Doing lite loads of laundry would help her out greatly if need be. My Grandma can shower, brush her teeth, & change own clothes. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
