About who needs care: Momma is 83; recovering from surgery; fell and broke her right hip; stayed at a rehab center for 3 weeks; depressed (usually happy); lives with daughter/caregiver; resists physical therapy; needs a companion to talk, play cards and puzzles, watch TV, eat meals, read, walk, etc. About the care needs: Woman, healthy, honest, reliable, joyful, smiles a lot, respectful, caring, conversationalist, friendly, peace keeper, willing to do mundane tasks to keep Momma happy. The goal is to give my sister, her caregiver, a break during the day. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
