Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Gallatin

About who needs care: My mom is basically self sufficient, but she's stage 4 breast cancer and diabetic. She doesn't move as well as she once did, and we worry about falls and accidents. She's never really driven long distances, so her appointments into Nashville sometimes cause scheduling conflicts for those of us that are able to take her. My brother, who once lived within 10 miles of her, recently moved to NY. So I think the biggest concern now is her loneliness. She an outgoing, fun loving woman. And since my dad passed in 2018, she struggles with enjoyment and purpose. I've tried to get her to move closer to me in KY, but she's reluctant. She does talk to people on the phone, but she needs and wants to go and do things. She enjoys eating out and listening to music. She doesn't get around quickly, so as much as she needs some long walks, anything requiring a lot of walking probably isn't ideal. About the care needs: The caregiver needs to be fun, and enjoy giving and taking a joke. Dirty jokes are fine, but she doesn't like foul language. They need to like all types of music. My mom isn't really an animal lover. She doesn't dislike them, but they don't bring her joy. Babies on the other hand... LOVES them!! She tends to get along with most people, and has a fun personality, but she has gotten a bit more opinionated in her older age, and more inclined to share it. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
