Seeking companion care near Fayetteville for my mother in her 70s. She has mild cognitive impairment but can do all of her own self care and ADLs. We've just noticed she is isolating more and more. She enjoys sitcoms and game shows, but struggles to follow movies or shows with multiple plot lines. She can follow targeted conversations one on one, and we would like her to socialize to preserve her functions as long as we can. We'd like you to help primarily organizing junk drawers and other "clean out" tasks to help prepare for downsizing one day. She may not accept "hired companionship" but might accept help from "a professional organizer" (who gets to know her and talks through this). We're looking for someone to provide companionship, but "with a purpose" outside just social. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with a cat.
