About who needs care: My husband Clifton is 77 yrs. old. He has dementia. We both are retired teachers of special needs students. Clifton was a Phy. Ed. and Health teacher. He was also an excellent soccer and track and field coach. These were lifetime professions for him. He was also an Olympian (1976) in Montreal. He has a sense of humor, but has a desire to leave the house the house to teach and coach every day. He also spends a lot of time talking about his family during his childhood and constantly asks for our kids and grands that we left in New York. About the care needs: Someone with a jovial personality who loves sports and food. and is a good listener. They should be able to do some walking in the neighborhood. They should love music and be willing to do some light housework (dishes, floor cleaning and swiffer mop.) This person needs to like and get along with older adults. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
