Daytime Caregiver For ALS Patient In Brentwood Area

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide care for our father, who has ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). He is bedridden, on a ventilator with a tracheostomy, and requires daily assistance. The position is for daytime hours from 9 a.m. to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Include: - Assisting with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming) - Managing ventilator and tracheostomy care, including suctioning and cleaning - Administering feeding via a PEG tube - Providing medication assistance - Light physical exercises and range of motion exercises - Monitoring and emptying the catheter - Occasional communication with medical professionals
