About who needs care: My mom is in a nursing home in Tennessee and is bed ridden but all sound in the mind. She needs help cutting and eating her food, somebody to be able to get up and get her fresh water and possibly pick orders up once a week, that is located 0. 2 miles , right across the street from the nursing home. They do not have the staff to feed her and make sure she is able to cut her food and they never get her water and she has been dehydrated and recently was sent to a hospital for dehydration due to the staff not being able. to get her water. She doesn't really require to much help with the changing of clothing but I do think they don't do. it often enough so maybe help once a day . She used to love reading but can not move both hands it would be nice for her to have company and someone read or just talk to her . It would really make her day if she could be taken outside once a day . About the care needs: Open-minded kind hearted living person would be great, she just needs something to look forward to . I live 10. hours away and it's very hard for me. Sheets needs help cutting food and she hates asking for help she doesn't want to feel like a burden to anyone . She has a kind spirit and is very easy going and likes to talk, it would be great if someone could keep her phone charged and on wifi so she isn't just trapped in her room in her bed. I've learned they never check on her it's really sad Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
