About who needs care: 102, a writer whose vision is diminishing along with his hearing. He walks with a walker and has a physical therapist that visits each week. He talks on the phone a lot. He needs light housekeeping and has just agreed to hire some help. He has lived by himself since Mom died in 2017. He gets Meals on Wheels but still does some cooking. He was a public-school teacher and a minister. We are exploring help in the home or his going to an assisted living facility. He still makes his decicions. About the care needs: Honest, friendly, good listener; someone able to relate to Dad. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
