We need companion care to take care of my 93-year-old father in Greenville. He has dementia but he can handle his basic activities of daily living like bathing, getting dressed, and feeding himself. He needs to be reminded to take his meds. He needs someone to take him out every day, and keep him company. The hours on Saturday are flexible, but he needs to be taken to church on Sundays (you don't have to stay for the service!) You would need experience and/or comfort with managing and administering medication is required, though we have a good system with his weekday caregiver. Occasionally there is light housekeeping, you would help w/grocery shopping and meal preparation. We might ask you to run errands now and then. We ask that you be able to drive him around. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
