About the job
About who needs care: I am 48 years old married to my wife of 25 years and I have ALS. I still have some function in my hands but not much and I'm able to stand but can't walk too well. Initially I'm looking for help getting dressed, showered and ready in the mornings with some light house work. About the care needs: Experience with physically disabled patients would be good. An upbeat positive attitude is a definite must. I would say I'm generally pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
