About the job
About who needs care: My mother has dementia and is beginning to have difficulties with incontinence and bathing herself. She is still mobile, but has stopped taking showers daily and just wants to "was up. " Due to memory issues, she no longer remembers my father as her husband and doesn't feel comfortable with him assisting her. My father has tried to remain active in his church, but as my mother progresses, she is unable to stay home alone. We may need a companion/sitter for my Mom a few evenings a week for meetings and on Sunday mornings as well for a few hours. More work possible for the right person as time goes on. About the care needs: My father and I are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, patient, kind, and spiritually driven. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
